Cirque du Soleil Returns to Hong Kong with Heart-Pounding Show

Just when we thought the lineup of shows in Hong Kong couldn't get any better and world-famous Canadian circus Cirque du Soleil announces its return to the city after a six-year break.

The troupe arrives in town on April 19 with their spectacular show KOOZA, which combines heart-pounding acrobatic performances with the art of clowning around.

Since its world premiere in Montreal in 2007, the show has been seen by over seven million people around the world, and now Hongkongers have the chance to catch all the action within the signature blue and yellow Big Top at the Central Harbourfront Event Space.

Inspired by the Sanskrit word “Koza”, which means “box”, “chest”, or “treasure”, the show is set to reveal a sensational box of tricks with an international cast of fifty acrobats performing death-defying stunts and plenty of laugh-out-loud antics set to a live soundtrack fusion of jazz, funk, and Bollywood beats.

Priority booking for sponsors has already begun while Citi Credit Cardholders can enjoy an early bird discount from 29 January to 4 February. Tickets to the public will be available online from February 5 at Asia Box Office, with an early bird 15% discount running until the end of February.
